This stylish, contemporary and fun to wear, single brilliant white Keishi baroque pearl ear cuff, is made from solid sterling silver 925 and plated in 18ct gold, with the belcher chain imported from Italy and lovingly hung in 2 draping chains. These connect to the small 'slide on' ear cuff, worn at the top or the side of the ear. The chains drape from the front to the back.
The "ear cuff" originated centuries ago and was called a "Kaffa." It cuffed the curve of the ear and because of the weight balance not affecting the ear, dramatic and very large styles with dripping chains and flowers were used.
ABOUT OUR PEARLS:
Our team hand-pick the stunning light, silvery pink and yellow hue Keshi pearls, or 'cornflake petal' baroque pearls from the island of Lombok Indonesia Independent pearl farms, for this piece. Each baroque pearl is slightly different in shape and colour, due to the natural process of it being made by a living organism in the mineral rich waters. Each pearl takes 4 years to be created naturally.
Size of ear cuff: 1cm tall / diameter 1cm / 5mm thick cuff
