Blue Iolite Gemstone 18kt Gold Vermeil CuffRegular price £85.00
Introducing the stunning gemstone cuff design that started our beautiful brand! Intricate coral patterns from the Indonesian ocean floors, are the inspiration for this maze like design and the pretty sparkly blue iolite gemstones twinkle like the minnows that dart around the corals, shinning in the dappled light.
It is the basis to our beautiful Labyrinth Collection and each piece is lovingly hand-made by our Balinese team of artisans in our workshop in Bali.
Iolite is considered a beautiful and inexpensive alternative to sapphire. It comes from the Greek word "Ios" meaning 'violet' and comes in a range of blue and purple hues. In these stones we have used in the cuff, they are a 'brilliant' cut and sparkle perfectly.
This cuff is made from the very best German brass alloy base with a beautifully thick and even 18kt gold plated vermeil in 3 microns.
It is available in a number of alternative "custom" finishes using precious metals as it's base, in sterling silver 925. Please inquire here, or check our other listings here for pre-order.

Over time, gold plating will become less and less bright as you wear your piece more and more. Thankfully the 3 micron standard that we use to plate our gorgeous jewellery, is done locally to UK, in Birmingham, by a reputable company that also does the plating for larger retail jewellery stores. They take care to insure we get the best quality for our customers. Note: on rings, gold plating will come off sooner than on cuffs and bangles and earrings. See here for more inofrmation on how to look after your Franki & Felix jewellery.
